GM Performance Parts 454. Crane roller cam part# 168731. Manley valves; 2.25 intake, 1.88 exhaust with port matching done by Indy Cylinder Head. Comp Cams roller rocker arms. Holley Commander 950 Multi Port Fuel Injection with wide band O2 sensor. Hedman Elite shorty headers. (Went with shorties to keep the O2 sensor close to the head as possible.) Custom built 3 inch stainless exhaust with Borla mufflers, Built by David Rippy at Hot Rod Alternatives in Jamestown IN. Griffin radiator and two 13 inch SPAL fans with custom built shroud by Randy Way at Bo-mar Industries in Indianapolis. MSD billet distributor used with Holley MPFI computer for controlled timing. 4L60E transmission with a 2800 stall torque converter and GM Performance Parts trans controller. 12 bolt differential with 3.42 gears. Lakewood traction bars and Competition Engineering sub frame connectors. Suspension package from Hotchkis Global West control arms. Late model, 14:1 ratio steering box from Flaming River. Baer Brake kit with 13 inch front rotors, 12 inch rear. Wheels are 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrust II’s with Bridgestone Potenza tires. P255/50R17 in the rear and P235/45R17 in the front. Interior: The factory deluxe interior was restored with seat covering, carpet, and head liner from Rick’s First Generation Camaro Parts. Labor was done by Kent’s Upholstery in Indianapolis. Vintage Air AC system. Custom Auto Sound AM/FM cassette with 10 disc CD Changer and Pioneer Amplifier. Exterior: PPG Torreador red. Three stage paint. I have owned the car for 8 years. No time slips yet. Wanting a set of drag radials before I run it. Awards: 5 Time class winner, 1 runner up at the Super Chevy Show in Indy.
