April 19, 2008 - Since 1958 Purdue University has been home to the “greatest spectacle in college racing”: the Purdue Grand Prix. This 50-mile race takes place on a track carefully modeled after the World Kart Championship track in Japan. Since 1999 the Purdue Automotive Performance Association has sponsored a car show in conjunction with the Grand Prix event. We would like to invite you and your organization to participate in our Grand Prix Car Show on April 19th, 2008. For the 2008 show there will be a variety of judged classes, with awards going to the top 2 cars in each class . There will also be prizes for other general awards, such as "best of show"..
